I actually based this guys appearance off of a Praying Mantis.
I figured that it would be a good practice to try and make human characters with facial features that represent an animal or insect. That way I'll be forced to come up with a huge variety of faces and bodies.
Also, adding in the fact that I'm trying to get away from my manga and anime roots, this is going to be really helpful for me. C:
